On Saturday we had Maya’s Playgroup Welcome Picnic. It was the welcome day for the new Families, and the welcome back to the old. We fall into the latter category this year as Maya begins her second and sadly the final year at the Waldorf Playgroup. It was wonderful to see our friends, some of which we had not seen over Summer. It was especially wonderful to see the teachers Kristin and Bevin. Maya found a comfy seat on Kristin’s lap and stayed there happily for picnic lunch. We took along fresh baked raspberry muffins! Maya has been counting down the sleeps until school goes back and we are down to the last one! Looking forward to the first day of Playgroup tomorrow!
