After a long scenic drive we arrived at Mystic, CT. We had reservations at a historic building called the The Inn at Mystic. A luxury resort over looking the Mystic Harbour and Long Island Sound. The Children were so excite to be staying in a Hotel, Maya ran and jumped on the beds while Elle desperately tried to just climb up! After destroying the perfection of the room we made our way to the swimming pool. It was quite late in the day so we had a sunset swim. Both of the Girls love the water. I had a floaty tube for Elle, but she refused to get into it. So Maya used it! After an hour both children had chattering teeth I had to insist they get out of the pool. With an appetite from swimming we walked into town for dinner. On the way we found an excellent restaurant called Rice Spice Noodles. A very snazzy atmosphere with really yummy food….we enjoyed a meal of exactly what the name suggests…rice spice and noodles. Plus some delicious veggie spring rolls and fried calamari (having been vegetarians for years…with the exception on holiday when we always order fish). After our bellies were full we walked back to the Inn to go to bed…
