Here is a closer look at some of the needle felted decorations I have been making. An angel tree topper and some very cute little toadstools, made from %100 sheep wool roving. I am really enjoying needle felting, so glad to have a new skill. I love the earthy handmade quality and plan to work on more Ornaments the next few weeks. I have a collection of the toadstools made already that are to be gifts for family…they are so cute I am having trouble parting with them, so yet to be posted…and in the meantime they are on our tree…
Hi Kristen,
I’ve been trying to figure out how to attach a string/ribbon onto the felt but can’t. Do you have any tips?
Thanks!
So sorry it has taken me so long to reply to this! I attach the sting by making the toadstool in two parts. I make the red part first and then thread the string though it from underneath before I start felting on the white stalk. That way the thread is encased into the toadstool. Hope that makes sense?
